Our Right to Manage Success Story
Two and a Half Years. Three Blocks. One Successful RTM Journey.
Our journey into block management began when Carole Neales, Director of Clearwater, along with Tricia Crocker, co-owner of their flat at Squires Court personally initiated a Right to Manage (RTM) campaign at Canterbury Gardens, Salford, determined to improve management standards and give leaseholders greater control over their residential development.
Over the following two and a half years, Carole personally led and drove the entire process
across three residential blocks. It was her first RTM project, but she brought over 20 years of
property experience, practical knowledge and resilience to the challenge.
Along the way, she organised volunteers to assist with leaflets and information gathering, drew on trusted professional contacts and engaged a specialist RTM consultant for additional expertise. The project demanded considerable personal time, financial commitment, persistence and problem-solving.
The result? A successful Right to Manage process across all three blocks.
The handovers are scheduled for 2 November and 17 November 2026.
This achievement reflects the work ethic at the heart of Clearwater: taking responsibility, finding solutions and persevering until the job is done.

Our experience spans property investment, acquisitions, refurbishment, conversions, residential lettings and ongoing management. We own and manage residential properties, including apartment blocks, houses and HMOs.
We also help tenants work towards homeownership through our Tenant Buyer arrangements and
collaborate with charities, housing associations and support providers to deliver quality homes for
people with specialist housing needs.
This experience gives us a practical understanding of maintenance, contractor management, financial responsibility and the importance of building positive relationships. Block management is a natural extension of the work we’ve been doing for more than two decades.
